To evaluate the bio-activity of a drug candidate, it is
critical to establish reliable, straightforward over cell based assays. Through
internal development, with the guidance from leading scholar in the field,
Alphamab has established a wide range of assays based on several dozens of
tumor cell lines. Other than that, we have generated several stable
cell line with reporter systems, for quantitative assessment of glyco-hormones,
growth factors and cytokines. In addition, the MLR assay and PBMC functional
assays are optimized to precisely measure the activity of immuno modulating
biologics.
For novel biologoics, Alphamab relies heavily on its academic collaborators to elucidate the mode of action. The knowledge is critical to guide SAR study, selection of suitable animal model etc..
